Congratulations to Kennedy teachers Amy Hardesty (Gifted Resource Coordinator) and Charlotte Freeman (Librarian) who were awarded Fund For Teachers grants. The two get to travel to Rome, Florence, and Milan to explore the connection between art and science found in Renaissance art, ancient architecture, and the scientific discoveries of Italy's great thinkers. Upon returning, they will integrate art into the curriculum and build a STEAM-centered classroom.
